What can I say about Melinda Whitehouse? She was born in a small New England town where the men are men, the women are women, and the clams are tainted. She got a degree in...something and interned for the BOSTON PHOENIX (think of the GUARDIAN with Red Sox scores). Then she escaped the Boston winters for Key West, Florida, where she worked as an music writer for ISLAND NEWS (think of the SF WEEKLY with Dolphin scores). Then she escaped everything about Florida for San Francisco, where she writes for the comedy troupe, JOHNNY CAT, and spends a lot of time going to bars and much less time writing about them. So what can I say about such a person? Unstable comes to mind.
